Currently there many fakes amulets flowing in the worldwide market by unscrupulous dealers to scam people out of money. In order to distinguish fake from a real amulet make by a guru monk, one can go to appraise these amulets in thailand. Only these experts can really appraise the real value of these amulets.

There is also amulets competition where avid devotees bring out their most precious amulets to compete which is the rarest and the most authentic. The judges of these compeition are often appraisers too themselves which I seek their help in appriasing my amulets before purchasing them.
